Rooted is a safe place for everyone to learn regardless of background or experience. It is an 11-week small group experience that connects people and transforms your relationship with God. Through group discussions, a prayer experience, daily devotionals, and a serving experience Rooted will help you find your purpose in God’s story. It is more than a program, class, group, or curriculum. At its core, Rooted helps you understand rhythms of following Jesus.

WHAT IS ROOTED?
Rooted is a catalyst for life-change through discussion in a small group environment, a safe space for biblical exploration, and practical learning experiences. The weekly readings will teach you what it means to be a disciple of Jesus through Scripture, prayer, worship, generosity, and service.
What will we explore during our time?
Throughout Rooted, you will have five daily devotional and journaling experiences each week to help you practice the 7 Rooted Rhythms modeled by the early church in Acts 2. These rhythms include daily devotion, prayer, breaking strongholds, sacrificial generosity, community service, sharing your story, and worship. Committed and consistent practice of these rhythms will not only impact you but the whole church.
HOW DO I JOIN A ROOTED GROUP?
All Rooted Groups will be listed on our website. You can choose the group that fits you best – day, time, location, and demographics.
Who can join a Rooted Group?
Everyone is invited to join a Rooted Group. Whether you’ve known Jesus for 30 years or are just starting your faith journey this 11-week journey is for you!
Is there a cost to joining a group?
The $40 registration fee covers the whole 11-week experience and includes the Rooted book, multiple group experiences, a kickoff celebration, a graduation celebration, and 2 meals! We do not want finances to deter you from participation. Scholarships are available. Please email [email protected] with any questions.
WHAT IS THE SCHEDULE FOR ROOTED?
CAN I LEAD A ROOTED GROUP?
Rooted facilitators get a front-row seat to see God transform lives! Group leaders must attend the Rooted Leader Training and agree to our Leadership Covenant before leading a group. Email [email protected] if you’re interested in leading a group.
WHEN WILL I GET MY ROOTED BOOK?
Rooted books will be handed out during the Week 1 Launch party.
When and where do groups meet?
Rooted Groups meet every week on various days, at various times and in various locations. Most groups will meet in homes, but there will be some at the church (Loveland and Windsor).
What if I can’t make it every week?
Rooted is a large time commitment, but we believe it will be worthwhile for you to invest in the entire process. If you know you are going to miss more than two meetings, we ask you wait until the next session of Rooted. The 11 weeks are a cumulative experience, so we ask every participant to honor each other by attending every meeting.
Will childcare be provided?
Foundations will not provide childcare, but here are several ideas for your kids.
- If children are old enough and a basement or separate room is available, gather the children in the room. Provide an appropriate movie, toys, games, or other things that would keep them entertained without adult supervision.
- Hire a babysitter and invite everyone in the group to donate towards the fund, whether they have children or not. (no obligation) The sitter can either watch the kids at the host home or another home.
- If your group meets on Tuesday and you know of another group that meets on Thursday, offer to watch their children while they meet & ask them to do the same for your group.
- Ask relatives that might be available to watch kids.
- Swap babysitting for snow removal, leaf cleanup, small chores.
- Brainstorm new ideas with your group.
