Mission Statement Our desire is for women to be fully connected to one another, growing closer to Jesus Christ through the study of God’s Word, prayer, fellowship and by being the hands and feet of Christ in our local community and the world. We want every woman of every age at Foundations to feel welcomed and connected to her sisters in Christ. It’s God’s intent that we live in community; supporting, encouraging and challenging each other to grow in faith and knowledge of who He created us to be. For more information on what’s happening in women’s ministry at Foundations, please visit our table in the Lobby or email us HERE. We welcome your ideas and suggestions, and would love to have you join us as we develop new ways to get us better connected!

Sermon on the Mount by Jen Wilkin

What does it mean to be a citizen of the kingdom of Heaven? Matthew’s gospel opens with three chapters containing Jesus’ longest recorded message – a sermon given to His disciples early in His ministry to articulate what the life of a Christ-follower would look like. It was a message intended to turn upside down every expectation His closest followers might have. In His sweeping depiction of kingdom citizenship, Jesus utters some of the most familiar passages in all of Scripture. (9 sessions)

Esther: It’s Tough Being a Woman by Beth Moore

If you’ve ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the Bible study for you. Just as it was tough being a woman in Esther’s day, it’s tough today. This portion of God’s Word contains treasures to aid us in our hurried, harried, and pressured lives. (11 sessions)

Current Selection: Seeking Allah Finding Jesus

In Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus, now expanded with bonus content, Nabeel Qureshi describes his dramatic journey from Islam to Christianity, complete with friendships, investigations, and supernatural dreams along the way.

Providing an intimate window into a loving Muslim home, Qureshi shares how he developed a passion for Islam before discovering, almost against his will, evidence that Jesus rose from the dead and claimed to be God. Unable to deny the arguments but not wanting to deny his family, Qureshi struggled with an inner turmoil that will challenge Christians, Muslims, and all those who are interested in the world’s greatest religions.

Engaging and thought-provoking, Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus tells a powerful story of the clash between Islam and Christianity in one man’s heart, and of the peace he eventually found in Jesus.

Stop by our table in the Lobby to pick up your book ($10), or email us at [email protected] to let us know you’ll be joining the discussion.
