At Foundations we want to foster and improve the presence of Foundations and Christ in our local communities. Although we are providing service opportunities with House of Neighborly Services, 137 Homeless Connection, Habitat for Humanity, and Matthew’s House, we want to encourage you to participate in the other local partnerships and serve where God leads you. Once we have received explored and embraced the gift of grace, God calls us to extend that same grace to other people. Let us as a body of Christ shine brightly in Loveland and Fort Collins and let all the people know that Foundations Church loves people for where they are and who they are. Please follow the calendar on the right hand side to find serving opportunities.
House Of Neighborly Services (Loveland)
Summary: Van Drivers and clerical volunteers.
1. Angel House under HNS needs people on Friday and Saturdays (You can just choose 1 or both) from 4:45 PM – 5:45 PM to help families move from the Angel House location to a specified Church where they will be fed and spend the night. This is a great opportunity to just love on these families and help them get to their destination. One person who is currently serving from Foundations in this capacity said it has been great getting to know the parents and especially the children in something so simple and driving the Angel House Van.
2. HNS is also looking for clerical volunteers who can help write letters and thank you notes. Must be good at communications and have nice handwriting. Please contact Delma Gutierrez if you are interested at firstname.lastname@example.org
Contact: Foundations Office 970-663-7625, if you are interested in driving a van.
137 Homeless House (Loveland)
Summary: In partnering with Disciples Ministry, you can feed the homeless each Tuesday night and sit down and build relationships.
This is the easiest way to get in front of the homeless, building friendships, and share the love of Christ. Once they see consistency, they start trusting you and sharing their life with you. Amazing way to “love your neighbor”.

Habitat for Humanity
Summary: Volunteer on the 4th Saturday of each month to help build a Habitat Home. More importantly, build a relationship with the family you are serving. You don’t necessarily have to know how to hammer a nail (thank goodness), it’s just about being present in the moment and loving on the receiving families.
