The Benevolence Ministry receives requests and distributes funds to persons/families in the circumstance of a financial crisis situation. We also make referrals to local agencies and community organizations such as The House of Neighborly Service (HNS), www.honservice.org. HNS is the premier organization in South Larimer County for
attending to and providing resources for those struggling with financial uncertainties. Foundations Church works cooperatively with HNS and the Benevolence Ministry considers HNS as one of our primary resources for helping those in need.
You will need to visit HNS and meet with a caseworker there before submitting a Financial Assistance Application to the Benevolence Ministry.
House of Neighborly Service is located:
1511 East 11th Street, Suite 100, Loveland, CO 80537
Ph: 970.667.4939 & Fax: 970.667.1597
Hours of operation are: Monday – Thursday: 9.00 AM – noon, 1PM – 4PM.
After you submit your application to the Benevolence Ministry you will receive an email confirming that your application has been received. Then you will be contacted in 3-9 business days by a Benevolence Team member regarding your application. Our timing in reviewing the financial assistance forms is a three week process. Our program is not set up to help with immediate financial emergencies.
OUR BENEVOLENCE TEAM WILL NOT BE MEETING ON JULY 6th. This will push back the response time in-regards to any forms that are submitted after Thursday, June 29th by one additional week.
Note: It is the policy of the Benevolence Ministry of Foundations Church to provide financial assistance to a person or family up to one time in a calendar year. Exceptions are considered on a case by case basis. The church is not able to provide assistance with the following: legal fees, late fees, taxes, credit card bills, or any expense for which it is deemed that assistance would contribute to an enabling situation for the person/family.
